Hyundai Capital has introduced a dedicated program for first-time Genesis customers, offering specialized benefits including vehicle price discounts, priority supply of new cars, and waived early repayment fees for repeat customers.
Hyundai Capital announced Tuesday that it has launched "Genesis Finance DOUBLE-PICK," a lease and rental program exclusively for Genesis customers. The product was newly launched as part of the existing "Genesis Finance" program, with a focus on benefits for first-time customers who return for repeat use.
Customers can first receive a "First Pick" benefit offering a discount equivalent to 4% of the vehicle price. This applies when customers lease or rent a Genesis through DOUBLE-PICK for either 12 or 24 months. However, Genesis electric vehicles are eligible only for 24-month terms.
Customers who use DOUBLE-PICK can receive the "Second Pick" benefit if they choose a Genesis product again after their contract expires. Early repayment fees are waived when returning the existing vehicle from five months before the First Pick contract expires. As with First Pick, a discount equivalent to 4% of the vehicle price is provided. Priority supply of new Genesis vehicles is also offered.
For example, when a customer leases a Genesis GV70 for 24 months, the previous monthly payment was around 1.02 million won. With DOUBLE-PICK, the vehicle can be used at a monthly payment of about 910,000 won, approximately 110,000 won less. This translates to an expected cost savings of about 2.64 million won over two years.
"While general installment products focus only on interest rates when customers first purchase a vehicle, DOUBLE-PICK provides various benefits tailored to the vehicle's life cycle, including vehicle price discounts and benefits for repeat customers," a Hyundai Capital official said.
Genesis surpassed cumulative domestic sales of 1 million units as of March, 10 years and 4 months after its launch. Since its debut, the brand has won numerous globally prestigious design awards, including the iF Design Award and Red Dot Award. It has established itself as a leading luxury brand, ranking first among premium brands five times over seven years from 2017 to 2023 in the Initial Quality Study released by J.D. Power in the United States.
