Yuanta Securities Korea announced Wednesday that the total balance of its wrap account products surpassed 2.5 trillion won ($1.7 billion) as of the 20th of this month.
A wrap account is an integrated asset management service in which clients entrust their investment funds to a brokerage, which then handles everything from portfolio construction to management on a professional basis. The service is designed for investors considering indirect investment amid a highly volatile financial environment.
In line with the Korean stock market's value-up initiative, Yuanta Securities Korea has built a diverse product lineup, including the "Yuanta Korea Wrap," which selectively invests in competitive Korean companies, and the "Yoo Dong-won Asia Wrap," which identifies stocks with high growth potential across Asian countries. Both products surpassed 100 billion won in balance as of the 17th of this month, contributing to the increase in the combined wrap balance, the company said.
"Amid the continued growth of asset allocation-based wrap services, surpassing 2.5 trillion won in combined wrap balance reflects the results of Yuanta Securities Korea's differentiated management capabilities and customer trust," said Yoo Dong-won, head of the Global Asset Allocation Division. "We will continue to strive to provide professional and systematic discretionary investment services."
Yuanta Securities Korea's wrap account products, including the Yuanta Korea Wrap and the Yoo Dong-won Asia Wrap, can be subscribed to through the firm's nationwide branches and its mobile trading system, "T-Rader M."
