Convenience store chain GS25 is stepping up its sports partnership marketing, offering exclusive marathon tickets and overseas soccer viewing promotions through its "Our Neighborhood GS" app.
GS25, operated by GS Retail (007070.KS), said Wednesday it will exclusively sell tickets for the 2026 Fast & Furious Run and run a promotion for on-site viewing of South Korea's soccer matches in North and Central America through its "Our Neighborhood GS" app.
The Fast & Furious Run is an official themed running event commemorating the 25th anniversary of Universal Studios' car action franchise film "Fast & Furious." It will be held for the first time in the world on Feb. 23 at Yongin Speedway in Gyeonggi Province. Participants will run on an actual racing circuit rather than typical city streets, offering a unique course experience.
The overseas soccer viewing promotion is also underway. GS25 has partnered with Travel Wallet to run a promotion from Thursday through Feb. 17 for on-site viewing of a global soccer match held in North and Central America in June. The promotion offers winners a bundled package through a lottery drawing, including tickets to South Korea's soccer match, round-trip airfare and a stay at a four-star hotel.
The promotion operates through a stamp collection system on the "Our Neighborhood GS" app for entry into the prize drawing. Customers who spend 5,000 won or more at GS25 using a "Travel Wallet Card" and accumulate "GS ALL Points" will earn stamps through the "Our Neighborhood GS" app. Tapping the stamp automatically enters the customer into the prize drawing.
