
Lotte Biologics announced on the 15th that it will present research results on its antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) platform 'SoluFlex Link' at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR 2026) annual meeting to be held in San Diego, U.S., from the 17th to the 22nd.
AACR is one of the world's three major cancer conferences alongside the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), serving as an academic conference where cancer research experts and industry professionals from around the world gather to discuss cancer treatment and new drug development.
Lotte Biologics will present results evaluating the structural stability of ADCs utilizing 'SoluFlex Link' technology co-developed with Kanaph Therapeutics.
According to the company, analysis of aggregate changes over time showed that the control group without SoluFlex Link exhibited increased aggregation over time, while the SoluFlex Link-applied group showed significantly suppressed aggregation and maintained high stability. This suggests that quality can be stably maintained during distribution and storage processes.
Additionally, in cell experiments targeting various receptors including epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and trophoblast cell surface antigen-2 (TROP-2), the SoluFlex Link-applied group demonstrated superior anticancer effects at lower concentrations compared to the non-applied group, and also showed excellent efficacy in triple-negative breast cancer cells, the company plans to announce.
Animal studies also showed improved in vivo pharmacokinetics (PK) based on high stability. The company explained that these results demonstrate SoluFlex Link's potential as a platform technology not limited to specific antibodies, proving excellent anticancer efficacy and improved pharmacokinetic characteristics.
