"Is Now the Opportunity?" Sold Hynix and Bought 'This Stock'! Top 1% of Investors Reveal Their Rebound Leader Stock

High-profit investors trading through Mirae Asset Securities were found to have net purchased Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, and LG Energy Solution the most on the morning of the 8th, in that order.
According to Mirae Asset Securities, the 'stock super experts' - customers in the top 1% of returns over the past month - purchased Samsung Electronics the most as of 11 AM.
Samsung Electronics was trading at 209,750 won at the same time, up 6.74% from the previous trading day. Samsung Electronics announced preliminary results of 133 trillion won in revenue and 57.2 trillion won in operating profit for the first quarter of this year. This represents the largest quarterly performance on record.
The buying interest is attributed to improved semiconductor industry outlook expectations, along with easing Middle East tensions and strengthened risk-on sentiment. President Trump announced via social media Truth Social at 6:32 PM that day: "I agree to suspend bombing and attacks on Iran for two weeks, on the condition that Iran agrees to the complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz."
Target price upgrades followed from securities firms as well. Ryu Young-ho, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, analyzed: "We have revised upward our 2026 earnings forecast to reflect higher-than-expected memory price increases," adding "2026 operating profit is expected to reach 309 trillion won, a 608.6% increase year-over-year."
Kim Dong-won, Head of KB Securities Research Division, raised this year's operating profit forecast to 335 trillion won and presented a target price of 360,000 won, emphasizing: "The current stock price is at only 4.5 times forward 12-month price-to-earnings ratio (PER) and 1.7 times price-to-book ratio (PBR), so discussing a peak is premature when there is ample room for earnings upgrades."
Hyundai Motor ranked second in net purchases. Hyundai Motor recorded 499,500 won at the same time, up 5.6%. Moon Yong-kwon, a researcher at Shinyoung Securities, noted: "The resumption of Palisade sales in April is positive," and forecasted: "Although shipment weakness continues at Czech, Turkey, Indonesia, and Vietnam plants, European plant utilization rates are expected to improve in the second half with new vehicle launches." He added: "Since the average won-dollar exchange rate in Q2 and Q3 last year was only 1,401 won and 1,386 won respectively, if the exchange rate maintains around 1,500 won, we can again expect favorable currency effects."
LG Energy Solution ranked third in net purchases. LG Energy Solution disclosed preliminary consolidated results of 6.555 trillion won in revenue and 207.8 billion won in operating loss for Q1 this year. Kim Hyun-soo, a researcher at Hana Securities, analyzed: "The Q1 operating loss falling below consensus was due to lower-than-expected ESS-related tax credits," adding "Despite weak EV battery performance, earnings improvement should be possible from Q2 onwards due to increased ESS shipments."
Conversely, SK Hynix ranked first in net sales. Although SK Hynix surged over 9% to break through 1 million won, it is analyzed that profit-taking selling emerged following the short-term surge.
As of the previous day, the top net purchase stocks by super experts were SK Hynix, Samsung Electronics, and Daehan Optical Communications, in that order. Top net sale stocks included Korean Air, LG Energy Solution, and FiberPro.
