Hansol Papertech, a corrugated base paper manufacturer under Hansol Group, announced Thursday that it provided a science hands-on learning program for Hanjae Elementary School in Damyang-gun, near its business site, to mark Science Month.
Hansol Papertech donated 92 paper drone kits worth 5 million won to foster a creative learning environment for students at Hanjae Elementary School in Damyang-gun. To ensure smooth operation of the program, professional instructors also provided training on paper drone assembly and flight to teachers at the school.
The hands-on learning program was designed to help students naturally understand scientific concepts such as flight principles through the process of building and flying paper drones themselves.
In particular, the program used paper drones made from paper products by Hansol Paper, a Hansol Group affiliate, allowing students to experience the diverse applications of paper materials.
"We are grateful for this meaningful experiential opportunity for our students," Hanjae Elementary School Principal Jeong Wol-seon said. "The interest and support from local businesses has been a great help to our students."
A Hansol Papertech official said, "We will continue to carry out social contribution activities to give back to the local community."
