Chaevi, a domestic electric vehicle fast-charging infrastructure (CPO) company, announced on the 8th that it will run a "V Members 100 Won Subscription" promotion throughout April to commemorate the milestone of 1 million EVs in Korea.
According to the Korea Automobile & Mobility Association (KAMA) and the Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association (KAIDA), EV sales in the first quarter of 2026 reached 87,627 units, a 152% increase compared to the same period last year (34,752 units), recording approximately 2.5-fold growth.
Chaevi has prepared a promotion offering subscriptions at 100 won, a 98% discount from the existing subscription fee of 4,900 won, to lower the charging barrier and expand services amid the popularization of EVs. V Members subscribers can receive a 23% discount on fast-charging fees regardless of charging volume, along with various benefits including 3,000 credits per month and Chaevi Stay coupons.
