IPARK Hyundai Development Company (HDC) conducted an executive site inspection to strengthen safety measures during the spring construction season.
HDC said Monday that CEO Jeong Gyeong-gu, CSO Yang Seung-cheol, and Head of Architecture Division Kang Min-seok visited the "Unjeong IPark Forest" construction site in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, on April 3.
High-risk operations are currently underway at the site, including excavation work, equipment access road construction, and pile-driving work for building foundation. CEO Jeong reviewed the project overview, key work status, and safety and health management conditions. He also conducted a focused inspection on whether safety and health measures were properly implemented for high-risk operations and processes classified as high-grade in risk assessments.
HDC plans to expand various safety management activities alongside regular executive site inspections starting this month. In particular, the company aims to preemptively control potential risk factors this year based on its safety management system for high-risk operations. On-site teams will conduct close monitoring of high-risk tasks, while the headquarters will strengthen surveillance through its integrated CCTV control center for major operations.
"As April marks the start of full-scale construction with increasing workloads, heightened safety awareness and thorough management are required," CEO Jeong said. "We will do our utmost in on-site management to create a safe workplace based on systematic inspections and work management standards."
