Fubon Hyundai Life Insurance carried out a meal service volunteer activity at "Seoul Metropolitan Ttaseuhan Chaeumteo," a free meal facility, in partnership with the Korean Red Cross. Ttaseuhan Chaeumteo was established near Seoul Station in 2010 under a Seoul Metropolitan Government ordinance.
Fubon Hyundai Life has organized a volunteer corps involving all employees every year since 2006 to carry out various corporate social responsibility activities, according to the financial industry on the 31st.
A volunteer team of Fubon Hyundai Life executives and employees provided lunch to approximately 200 underserved neighbors, including elderly people living alone near Seoul Station, on the 27th. The event was organized to offer a warm meal and support the health of neighbors facing economic hardship.
In addition, the company operates a "1:1 Matching Grant" program, in which the company matches employee donations on a one-to-one basis, as well as a "salary round-down donation" initiative to raise social contribution funds and practice sharing.
"It was an opportunity to deliver warm love to underserved neighbors with the sincerity of our employees," a Fubon Hyundai Life official said. "We will continue to make efforts so that positive energy can spread further in our society through ESG management practices and coexistence with local communities."
