
Neurophet (380550.KQ), a brain disease diagnosis and treatment artificial intelligence company, announced Monday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with ALZ-NET, a U.S. Alzheimer's disease treatment and diagnostic standardization network.
The agreement aims to support medical professionals participating in ALZ-NET to improve the quality of care for Alzheimer's disease patients. The two sides plan to raise awareness about the importance of amyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA) monitoring while promoting the adoption and expanded clinical use of Neurophet's key solutions at participating medical institutions.
The collaboration will utilize Neurophet's major solutions, including Neurophet AQUA, a neurodegenerative imaging analysis software; Neurophet SCALE PET, a positron emission tomography image quantitative analysis software; and Neurophet AQUA AD Plus, a comprehensive brain imaging analysis solution for Alzheimer's disease treatment prescriptions. These products have received U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance. The company expects the partnership to expand the use of Neurophet's solutions across the numerous Alzheimer's treatment and imaging examination institutions participating in ALZ-NET.
ALZ-NET is a network sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association and operated by the American College of Radiology (ACR). It collects and analyzes clinical and imaging data from patients receiving FDA-approved Alzheimer's treatments to support standardization of treatment and diagnosis and the accumulation of evidence.
