Hyundai Livart (079430.KS), a South Korean furniture maker, announced Wednesday that it has launched a hotel-style twin bed as its first-half new product this year, reflecting growing demand for independent sleep and premium bedroom interiors.
The new hotel-style bed "Soigné" — meaning "carefully crafted" in French — is designed with restrained aesthetics and a stable structure, targeting newlywed couples who desire the sophisticated and luxurious ambiance of a premium hotel room.
Soigné combines two single beds so that two people can sleep separately within one space. The lineup includes a "connected type," where two beds are placed together to function as one large bed, and a "standalone type," where a panel is placed between the two beds for complete separation.
The company also sought differentiation in design and functionality. A "hotel-style layout" connects the headboard and side panels into a single unit that fills the entire bedroom wall. Indirect lighting runs continuously from the headboard to the ends of both side panels, simultaneously creating the cozy atmosphere characteristic of hotel rooms and visual cohesion, Hyundai Livart said. The bed comes in two colors: "Ivory" for a bright and comfortable feel, and "Deep Brown" for a calm and luxurious mood.
"Soigné will be the optimal solution for customers who want comfortable and independent sleeping spaces through its twin bed configuration, as well as the aesthetic appeal of a hotel-style layout," a Hyundai Livart official said. "In line with recent residential trends that prioritize space utilization efficiency and quality of rest, we plan to continuously expand our twin bed lineup from the current 10 models, enhancing both functionality and design."
