The "Daisy Walnut Pastry," which drew attention at singer G-Dragon's fan meeting, is back in the spotlight ahead of its official launch. Some fans have even begun seeking proxy buyers to secure the product.
According to retail industry sources on Sunday, after news broke of the "Daisy Chestnut Walnut Pastry" — a collaboration between Buchang Confectionery and the Just Peace Foundation — posts offering purchasing services have been appearing across online communities and secondhand trading platforms.
Some users are offering to buy the G-Dragon walnut pastries on others' behalf for a service fee of 18,000 won, while others are promising 100% refunds if they fail to make a purchase. The frenzy is seen as a result of G-Dragon's devoted fandom converging with demand for limited-edition desserts.

The new Daisy Chestnut Walnut Pastry features domestically sourced chestnuts and chestnut paste filling, highlighting the deep flavor of its ingredients. The product also recreates the "Daisy" chocolate decoration that first caught attention when it was unveiled at G-Dragon's fan meeting, further fueling fan anticipation.
The product will be available in two formats. The "Love & Peace Gift Pack" contains 10 Daisy Chestnut Walnut Pastries and is priced at 30,000 won. The "Love & Peace Keyring Set" includes the same 10-piece pastry pack plus one "clicker keyring" — a detailed replica of the actual product — for 47,000 won. The clicker keyring produces a clicking sound when pressed and is crafted with fine detail to enhance its collectible value.
The "LOVE & PEACE" project carries the message that "small everyday choices create change." A portion of sales proceeds will be donated to the Just Peace Foundation, making each purchase a natural act of giving.
The project is designed so that purchases naturally lead to sharing, centered on the message that small everyday choices create change. Part of the sales revenue will be donated to the Just Peace Foundation, allowing consumers to participate in giving naturally.
"We wanted to make donation an everyday experience rather than something extraordinary," a Buchang Confectionery official said. "We hope many customers will join us in these moments where small choices lead to meaningful change."
A pop-up for the project will run exclusively at Shinsegae Department Store's Gangnam branch from March 26 to April 5.
