
Kim Sung-hwan, Minister of Climate, Energy and Environment, announced energy conservation measures in response to the Middle East situation at the Government Seoul Complex in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on Monday.
The Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment plans to pursue a response strategy centered on three key areas: adjusting the power generation mix to minimize liquefied natural gas (LNG) consumption, implementing intensive petroleum reduction and energy conservation measures, and accelerating the deployment of renewable energy and energy storage systems.
