The Meat Reversal promotion is a weekly discount event where Coupang directly selects meat products with high price competitiveness compared to market prices. The promotion was designed to provide practical benefits to consumers struggling with recent rises in livestock prices.
The "This Week's Meat Reversal" section features noteworthy products for this week. "Nonghyup Ansim Hanwoo Grade 1 Aged Sirloin for Grilling" is available at 6,990 won per 100g. From the 20th of this month, for three days, consumers can purchase it at 5,940 won per 100g when combined with credit card discounts. "Meat N Joy U.S. Beef Galbi Sal" is offered at 4,388 won per 100g, while Australian chuck eye roll is available at 2,388 won per 100g.
Customized sections reflecting customers' diverse preferences and budgets are also available. The "This Week's Lowest Price Challenge! Pork Belly & Pork Neck" section offers value products including Dodram Korean Pork Grade 1 Pork Belly at 2,194 won per 100g and Sunjin Pork Korean Pork Grade 1 Pork Belly at 2,194 won per 100g. The "Premium Meat" section features Harim Animal Welfare Certified Chicken Tenderloin at 2,070 won per 100g and Organic Australian Skirt Steak for Grilling at 5,850 won per 100g.
A Coupang official said, "We prepared this promotion for customers who are hesitant to go grocery shopping due to the recent steep rise in livestock prices," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide quality meat products at reasonable prices."
