Kumho Petrochemical's (011780) building materials brand Hugreen unveiled a new advertisement featuring actress Shin Min-a on May 13.
The campaign is an extension of last year's well-received "Living Experience Report" series, which introduced real stories of consumers solving everyday inconveniences with Hugreen products and resonated with audiences.
This year's campaign, titled "Shin Min-a's Living Experience Report," features the actress—now in her seventh consecutive year as Hugreen's brand ambassador—addressing everyday ventilation concerns. The ad naturally conveys the benefits she experienced while personally testing Hugreen windows.
The campaign consists of two episodes centered on Hugreen's flagship product, the "Auto Ventilation Window Pro." The first episode, "A Woman Who Wants to Ventilate," depicts household conflicts arising from family members' differing preferences on when to open windows, resolved by the Auto Ventilation Window Pro. The product features an AI smart sensor that automatically analyzes indoor air quality and enables ventilation without opening windows.
The second episode, "Please Take Care of Mom," shows Shin Min-a gifting Hugreen windows to her mother. It conveys the message that the product can help protect parents' health by enabling ventilation even when opening windows is difficult due to spring pollen or autumn fine dust. The Auto Ventilation Window Pro employs a high-performance triple-layer safety filter system that removes over 99.95% of ultrafine dust and blocks harmful substances including bacteria and viruses, allowing only clean air indoors.
Alongside the campaign, Hugreen released a commercial jingle titled "Living with Hugreen Song," composed using generative AI. The catchy, upbeat melody highlights the Auto Ventilation Window Pro's ability to maintain clean indoor air without the hassle of opening and closing windows.
"Building on last year's success, this year's 'Living Experience Report' campaign emphasizes the Auto Ventilation Window Pro's advantages—enabling ventilation despite differing family preferences and difficult conditions caused by fine dust and pollen," a Hugreen representative said. "We will continue to lead the premium window market with window solutions that help maintain comfortable indoor air quality across various living environments."
