Busan Bank will launch deposit and savings products this year to support the Lotte Giants' push for postseason play, marking the 20th anniversary of the popular offering.
The bank announced on the 9th that it has revised terms to expand benefits and participation for the "BNK Fall Baseball Term Deposit and Savings" products commemorating the milestone anniversary.
The per-person deposit limit will increase from 100 million won to 500 million won, while the total sales cap rises from 300 billion won to 500 billion won. The products are scheduled to launch on the 27th of this month.
The "victory wish" preferential interest rate offered to all deposit customers has been raised from 0.10 percentage points to 0.20 percentage points. Performance-based preferential rates have also increased from a maximum of 0.20 percentage points to 0.30 percentage points.
If the Lotte Giants win 70 or more games in the regular season, an additional 0.10 percentage points will be added. For 80 or more wins, 0.20 percentage points will be added, bringing the maximum preferential rate to 0.50-0.80 percentage points. The Lotte Giants recorded 66 wins in the 2025 regular season.
The savings account sales limit will also expand from 3,000 accounts to 5,000 accounts. The savings product allows monthly deposits of 10,000 won to 1 million won over one year. The preferential rate for customers who open both deposit and savings accounts simultaneously has been raised from 0.10 percentage points to 0.20 percentage points.
Busan Bank's fall baseball deposit products have sold out every year since their 2007 launch. The product was renamed "Lotte Giants Victory Wish Deposit and Savings" last year before reverting to "BNK Fall Baseball Deposit and Savings" this year. Despite selling out annually, the bank has been unable to pay the preferential interest rates due to the Lotte Giants' poor performance.
