Jin Air announced on the 6th that it held an induction ceremony for 10 para-athletes.
The ceremony was attended by 10 swimmers along with key executives and officials from Jin Air.
Jin Air presented the athletes with team uniforms and bouquets to foster a sense of belonging and welcome them to the organization.
Athlete Hong Jin-wook said, "Receiving the Jin Air uniform makes me truly realize that I have become a member of the team. Now that I have the opportunity to train in such a good environment, I will work harder with a greater sense of responsibility and repay this support with strong results."
A Jin Air official said, "We hope our 10 new family members can focus on their training in a stable environment and fully demonstrate their abilities. We will continue to expand opportunities for athletes to realize their dreams through sports."
Jin Air established the airline industry's first para-athlete team in November 2021. Since then, the company has continuously expanded the team's size by adding various sports including table tennis and taekwondo.
