GS Engineering & Construction will now provide safety inspections for its Xi apartment complexes even after the warranty period has expired.
On the 4th, GS E&C announced it is launching a safety support program called "Xi-style, With Deep Care" for Xi complexes. The program is an after-sales service designed to prevent safety accidents such as fires and flooding by inspecting common facilities in complexes whose warranty periods have ended.
Inspections will cover key common facilities directly related to complex safety, including electrical rooms, mechanical room pump equipment, and waterproof barriers. After coordinating schedules with resident representative councils, technical experts from GS E&C and Xi S&D will be dispatched to sites to inspect facility conditions and provide results in report form. When necessary, the company will also provide operational and management guidance and training to apartment management companies.
A key feature of the program is the extension of the existing after-sales management system to complexes beyond the warranty period. GS E&C has been operating a "Look First, Refresh" service that proactively inspects common areas including landscaping, community facilities, and parking lots for complexes in their first to second year after move-in. The company has also established a phased after-sales management system, including the "Xi Quick Fix" service that supports replacement of consumable items for complexes where finishing material warranties have expired after three to four or more years of occupancy.
A GS E&C official emphasized, "We are expanding the scope of after-sales management so that Xi complex residents can live safely from the early stages of move-in through long-term residence," adding, "We plan to continue expanding services in a direction that strengthens residential safety and customer trust."
