Samsung Electronics Service announced on the 3rd that it will provide pre-season inspection services for its air conditioner users.
With early summer heat expected to drive air conditioner usage starting next month, Samsung Electronics plans to help users diagnose their products' condition in advance through the pre-season checkup service. The inspection period runs through May 31.
Users first conduct self-inspections by following video guides posted on the Samsung Electronics Service website, including checking power connections, cleaning indoor unit dust filters, clearing areas around outdoor units, and test-running the air conditioner. If any issues are found, users can then request a professional engineer's pre-season inspection. Requests can be made through the Samsung Electronics Service contact center and website, with no service call fees.
Pre-season inspections are also supported through SmartThings, the company's integrated artificial intelligence (AI) platform. Users who have registered their air conditioners on SmartThings can receive "Air Conditioner AI Diagnosis" notifications on their smartphones. Tapping the notification initiates diagnostics on refrigerant levels, motor operation, sensor status, and heat exchanger temperature. If additional verification is needed after diagnosis, users can have their products remotely inspected by professional consultants to resolve issues.
An early bird promotion is also underway for "Samsung Care Plus Air Conditioner Professional Cleaning" service. Through June 30, customers can receive systematic cleaning services from professional engineers at a 10% discount. Samsung Electronics recently launched the 2026 model "Bespoke AI WindFree Combo Gallery Pro" air conditioner.
"Managing air conditioners before the full heat of summer arrives is becoming increasingly important," said Park Sung-je, Technical Team Leader at Samsung Electronics Service. "We will actively conduct pre-season inspections so that customers can conveniently use Samsung Electronics air conditioners."
