Lotte Group announced Wednesday it is beginning its rolling recruitment process.
The conglomerate's "predictable rolling recruitment" system, in operation since 2024, synchronizes hiring schedules across affiliates to select new employees simultaneously. The selection process is conducted quarterly in March, June, September, and December.
Fifteen affiliates are participating in the March 4 recruitment round, including Lotte Department Store, Lotte Hotel, Lotte Duty Free, Lotte Advanced Materials, and Lotte Chilsung Beverage. The company is hiring for approximately 30 positions including merchandising, sales, marketing, and business support, with total hires expected to reach triple digits.
Lotte Department Store and Lotte Mart & Super will select new merchandising and marketing employees through the "I'M (I'm Mania)" program, a practical skills-focused selection process. The program evaluates candidates based on job performance capabilities and career vision, excluding traditional credentials such as GPA and language test scores. Candidates are assessed on job-related competencies and achievements to evaluate practical work abilities.
The group is also operating employment support programs alongside its recruitment. Job fairs will be held at seven universities from Wednesday through March 9 to coincide with the March hiring schedule. HR managers and current employees from affiliates will attend to provide job descriptions and application guidance.
Additionally, "Lotte Job Cafe" events will be held in June and December, offering career counseling, external expert lectures, and resume consulting services. The company also plans to operate customized counseling programs aligned with quarterly hiring schedules.
Details on selection schedules and eligibility requirements are available on the Lotte Group recruitment website.
"The predictable rolling recruitment system is designed to help job seekers develop systematic employment strategies," a Lotte official said. "We will continue to expand touchpoints with applicants through on-site counseling programs linked to recruitment and maintain our focus on job-centered selection."
