Mastern Investment Management announced Monday it has nominated Suh Yoo-seok, former chairman of the Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA), as a candidate for outside director.

Suh will be appointed as the new outside director at the shareholders' meeting scheduled for March 27. He will serve a three-year term and assume the role of audit committee chairman upon appointment.
Suh graduated from Korea University with a degree in economics and majored in financial management at Korea University Business School. He is recognized for his extensive practical and managerial experience in the financial investment industry.
He began his career at Daehan Investment Trust, then moved to Mirae Asset Securities. He later led key divisions at Mirae Asset Global Investments, including ETF marketing, and served as co-CEO. From 2023 to 2025, he served as chairman of KOFIA.
A company official said, "We expect Chairman Suh's experience and expertise spanning capital markets and asset management will strengthen the board's oversight function and contribute to enhancing responsible management and risk management systems."
