The Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation announced on the 3rd that it is accepting applications until the 4th of next month for the "Global Impact Preneur" program, an Asia-Pacific impact startup selection and development initiative in partnership with the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre.
Impact companies are enterprises that create socially and environmentally meaningful effects while generating financial value. Eligible applicants are companies based in the Asia-Pacific region, including Korean firms, that have been established for less than five years. Candidates must offer solutions addressing social issues such as the Sustainable Development Goals and possess verifiable business models beyond the ideation stage, including prototypes, pilots, or proof of concept.
The 20 selected entrepreneurs will receive mentoring from Asia-Pacific experts, impact measurement support, and opportunities to network with global investors and fellow startups.
"We will actively support the development of global impact entrepreneurs to help solve social problems worldwide," said Chung Moo-sung, Chairman of the Chung Mong-Koo Foundation.
