Public Home Shopping will now allow partners to receive settlement payments through a simple application process without issuing tax invoices.
Public Home Shopping announced on the 9th that it will shorten the payment period for all broadcast partners from 10 days to 2 days after settlement closing. As a result, broadcast partners will be able to convert payments to cash within two days after settlement closes.
Public Home Shopping first introduced the "Distribution Network Win-Win Payment" system in November 2022, becoming the first in the industry to address payment uncertainty for small and medium-sized enterprises and support their liquidity. Under the previous win-win payment system, the settlement period typically extended to around 30 days, often causing difficulties for small business owners and SMEs in securing operating funds for raw material purchases, wage payments, and facility investments.
To address these limitations, Public Home Shopping established a deposit fund of 25 billion won from its own resources and improved its system to enable early cash conversion before tax invoice issuance. This is expected to significantly reduce partners' cash flow burden by advancing payment timing from 10 days after settlement closing to within 2 days.
A Public Home Shopping official said, "The Distribution Network Win-Win Payment system is a customized settlement system designed to allow partners to receive payments as quickly as possible after settlement closing," adding, "We will continue to provide support so that small business owners and SMEs can achieve stable growth."
