Forena the Sharp Incheon City Hall Station, a residential complex boasting a "double subway station" location with the upcoming opening of the Greater Seoul Metropolitan Express Railway (GTX)-B line, will begin sales next month.
Hanwha E&C and POSCO E&C announced Wednesday that they will launch sales for Forena the Sharp Incheon City Hall Station next month. The complex will be developed through redevelopment of the area around 311-1 Ganseok-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon. The project comprises 24 buildings ranging from four underground floors to 35 stories above ground, with a total of 2,568 units in sizes from 39 to 84 square meters. Of these, 735 units will be offered for general public sale.
Forena the Sharp Incheon City Hall Station offers excellent transportation accessibility. Both Incheon City Hall Station, served by Incheon Metro Lines 1 and 2, and Ganseok Ogeo-ri Station on Incheon Metro Line 1 are within walking distance. Notably, Incheon City Hall Station is slated for GTX-B line service, which will improve access to Yeouido, Yongsan, and Seoul Station. Once the GTX-B line opens, travel from Incheon National University Station (the terminus) to Seoul Station is expected to take approximately 30 minutes.
The complex also provides easy access to the First and Second Metropolitan Ring Expressways and the Second Gyeongin Expressway via Gyeongin-ro near the development. Express buses offer travel to Hapjeong and Hongdae Entrance in Seoul in approximately one hour.
Sang-incheon Elementary School is located directly in front of the complex, with Sang-incheon Middle School, Guwol Middle School, Ganseok Girls' Middle School, Shinmyung Girls' High School, Inje High School, and Incheon Arts High School all concentrated within a 1-kilometer radius. Living infrastructure is also abundant, with major shopping facilities including Homeplus, Lotte Department Store, and Emart Traders, as well as key public and medical institutions such as Incheon City Hall, Incheon Culture & Arts Center, and Gachon University Gil Medical Center nearby. Given the active redevelopment projects in the Ganseok-dong and Guwol-dong areas with new apartment complexes being built since 2023, the residential environment is expected to improve further.
Forena the Sharp Incheon City Hall Station will feature various community facilities. The complex also plans to enhance resident convenience by introducing "Homenic," a smart home management system, and "EV Air Station," a ceiling-mounted electric vehicle charging system developed by Hanwha E&C. Living rooms feature coffered ceiling designs to create a sense of openness. Various options are available, including robot vacuum storage cabinets, an automatic louver system that opens outdoor unit louvers when the air conditioner operates, and "Forena Edge Look" with integrated wiring fixture designs.
"Incheon was excluded from the latest regulated areas, raising expectations for a balloon effect," said Jang Young-gi, sales director at Hanwha E&C. "With a branded large-scale complex combined with GTX-B benefits, this will be an attractive option for both end-users and investors."
The model house for Forena the Sharp Incheon City Hall Station is scheduled to open next month at 1140-1 Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon. Move-in is planned for September 2029.
