Yeoju City announced Monday it will provide consumer subsidies through the "Yeoju Sarang Card" program to boost the local economy during the year-end period.
Yeoju Sarang Card users who spend a combined total of 100,000 won or more (general top-up balance) between December 22 and December 31 will receive 10,000 won in cashback. The promotion will end early if the budget is exhausted. Policy allowances such as agricultural and fishing community opportunity income are excluded from the combined spending total.
"I am pleased to promote this consumer subsidy program that can benefit our citizens during the frozen year-end economy," Yeoju Mayor Lee Chung-woo said. "We will continue to actively pursue regional economic revitalization policies that can satisfy both consumers and small business owners."
