Hyundai Motor Club, the official brand fandom of Hyundai Motor (005380.KS), held a commemorative event celebrating its 10th anniversary. With approximately 124,000 members, Hyundai Motor Club has been credited with expanding customer touchpoints and enhancing brand awareness in Korea and Japan.
Hyundai Motor said Wednesday that it held the 10th anniversary event for Hyundai Motor Club at Inspire Entertainment Resort in Incheon from January 13 to 14. The event was attended by 277 family members of outstanding Hyundai Motor Club members and 19 members from Hyundai Motor Club Japan. The program included a heritage photo exhibition from a commemorative contest and awards for outstanding members.
Hyundai Motor Club was first launched in 2015 as "a gathering of people who own and love Hyundai vehicles." Currently, approximately 124,000 members are actively engaged in club activities. Beyond automotive activities such as operating the amateur racing team "Team HMC," the club leads a healthy automotive fandom culture through various social contribution programs including "Build Station for Transportation-Underserved Areas" and "Drive-in Moving Theater" for communities with limited access to transportation and cultural services.
Hyundai Motor has supported Hyundai Motor Club's activities and established a virtuous cycle. The company encourages customers to voluntarily spread the word about Hyundai's product competitiveness and differentiated value, while actively accepting constructive criticism and feedback to develop better products and services. In August this year, Hyundai Motor Club Japan was launched as Hyundai's first official overseas brand fandom, contributing significantly to understanding local customer needs and enhancing Hyundai brand awareness.
"Over the past 10 years, Hyundai Motor Club has grown beyond a simple automobile club into a brand fandom built on the passion and trust of customers who love Hyundai," said Kim Seung-chan, Head of Hyundai Motor's Domestic Business Division. "We will support Hyundai Motor Club to establish itself as the central platform leading the 'Global Hyundai Brand Fandom.'"
