IMM Corp. and IMM Investment announced executive appointments on Monday, promoting Co-CEOs Jang Dong-woo and Ji Sung-bae to vice chairmen of the holding company IMM Corp.
Jung Il-bu, who served as CEO of IMM Corp., and Byun Jae-cheol, CEO of IMM Investment, were also promoted to president.
The newly appointed Vice Chairmen Jang and Ji will oversee the group's long-term growth direction and overall decision-making. The two co-founders of IMM will step down from their positions as co-CEOs of IMM Investment and serve as co-chairmen of the boards of both IMM Corp. and IMM Investment, focusing on driving global growth and enhancing synergies among affiliates.
Newly appointed President Jung Il-bu will move to the position of CEO at IMM Investment to oversee the venture capital division. President Byun Jae-cheol will lead the growth equity and infrastructure divisions. The two presidents will serve as co-CEOs of IMM Investment, advancing investment capabilities in their respective areas.
Na Sung-min and Koo Jae-yoon, senior managing directors at the Growth Equity Investment Division, and Yoon Won-ki, senior managing director at Venture Investment Division 1, were promoted to executive vice president. They will strengthen management accountability in their respective divisions and lead the execution of value-up strategies for each business unit.
"This executive reshuffle is a decision to further strengthen the strategic and management functions of the holding company IMM Corp. to more systematically support the growth of the entire group," an IMM official said. "Even amid increasing volatility in global capital markets, we will grow into a trusted investment platform for investors, portfolio companies, and employees through responsible investment, proactive risk management, and long-term value creation."
