Hyundai Mobis (012330.KS) announced Wednesday that it will participate in CES 2026, opening January 6 in Las Vegas, where it will showcase approximately 30 converged mobility technologies.
The company will operate a private exhibition hall for pre-invited customers at CES. Hyundai Mobis plans to invite North American clients, aiming to use CES as a substantive platform for securing new orders.
The exhibition theme is "Layer of Progress," emphasizing connectivity and convergence among technologies. The company will selectively present advanced technologies from core component areas including electronics, electrification, and chassis safety to global customers.
Key exhibits include M.VICS 7.0, an integrated cockpit solution, and X-by-Wire electronic control technology. M.VICS is Hyundai Mobis's comprehensive cockpit integration solution encompassing its infotainment technologies, with the new 7.0 version to be unveiled. The system incorporates innovative technologies including a Holographic Windshield Display (HWD) that projects driving information onto the front windshield, an 18.1-inch large display expandable vertically, and a console control system emphasizing aesthetics and operability.
The HWD applied to M.VICS 7.0 received a CES 2026 Innovation Award from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) last month, demonstrating its global competitiveness. HWD is a display technology that Hyundai Mobis is developing in collaboration with Germany's Zeiss, using holographic film for the first time in the world, enabling the front windshield to function as an extra-large display.
X-by-Wire is a technology that controls steering and braking through electrical signals without mechanical connections. It integrates both functions in a single controller to achieve optimal driving performance. Hyundai Mobis has also applied dual safety mechanisms to X-by-Wire, allowing the braking system to safely control the vehicle even if a steering malfunction occurs.
Hyundai Mobis plans to continue actively expanding orders through global exhibitions including CES. The company aims to increase the revenue share from global customers in core components to 40 percent by 2033.
