The Ministry of Small and Medium Venture Enterprises announced on the 4th that the “TOPS of the Year (30 companies)” pop-up store event will be held at Yeouido IFC Mall North Atrium for 3 days from the 5th to the 7th of this month.
This pop-up store is a pre-boom-up (BOOM-up) event for the “TOPS Awards (AWARDS)” awards ceremony scheduled to be held during this month, and was designed to raise public awareness and spread brand value by showcasing excellent products from 30 small businesses that have entered the 3rd phase of the online brand small business development project (TOPS). The pop-up store is open every day from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The TOPS project is a new project this year, and the government collaborates with 10 top private platforms in each field, including SK Store, SSG.COM, Gmarket, Hyundai Home Shopping, Lotteon, and Delivery Nation, to directly discover and nurture promising brand small businesses with high potential for development. More than 3000 small businesses are supported step by step, and in phase 3, special exhibition for each platform company, department store/home shopping cooperation support, and pitching contests will be held for the 30 finally-selected companies.
In this pop-up store, a total of 30 excellent brand owners, including 6 comprehensive companies, 12 food companies, 6 fashion companies, 3 food companies, and 3 lodging companies, will participate in this pop-up store, and will be set up in the main lobby of the shopping complex to welcome visitors for 3 days.
The venue consists of 4 themed zones: △ Food Zone (Arena Kitchen), Fashion and Beauty Zone (Arena Dress Room), Food and Lodging Zone (Arena House), and Food Experience Zone (Arena Cafeteria). The booth was structured in the form of a showroom, and it was designed so that the product display corner and space where TOPS products can be experienced are naturally connected according to the route.
The food zone was decorated in the form of an open kitchen to display excellent products, and the fashion and beauty zone was designed so that you can experience a variety of products in a dressing room and dressing table. The food and lodging zone provides display and video content that allows you to feel the atmosphere of an actual lodging space. Brand-specific QR codes will be provided for customers who want to view and purchase products so that online purchases can be made.
There are also 6 regular events for visitors. If you visit the entire space through the “Stamp Tour,” a souvenir will be given, and a “Lucky Draw (Lucky Draw)” lottery (600 people in total for 3 days) will be held for customers certified to purchase TOPS products. There are also various programs, such as the “Closet Organization Challenge” and the “SNS Visit Verification” event using TOPS products.
As a special event, beauty and fashion influencers will present makeup demonstrations and styling using TOPS products as a participatory experience program. Makeup artist Shim Hwa-pyeong and fashion creator Park Esther will participate in a show on themes such as 'Moisturizing Radiance Makeup' and 'Office Look for Office Workers'.
“This pop-up store is a valuable opportunity to directly inform consumers about the brand value of outstanding small business owners who have grown through public-private partnerships,” said Park Sang-yong, Director of Small Business Management Security Support. “We will continue to spare no effort to expand sales channels and promote support so that small business owners can continue to grow.”
