Cheonil Express, which recorded an upper limit for 7 consecutive trading days due to the news of the redevelopment of the Seoul Express Bus Terminal, increased its rise after resuming trading and hit the upper limit again.
According to the Korea Exchange on the 2nd, Cheonil Express is currently recording 307,000 won, up 70,500 won (29.81%) from the previous trading day. Cheonil Express recorded an upper limit for 7 consecutive trading days until last week due to the good fortune of redevelopment of Gangnam Express Bus Terminal. The day before, it was designated as an investment risk item and trading was suspended for one day. Considering that it was 30,7850 won on the 18th of last month, before the stock price skyrocketed, it has increased more than 7 times in just over half a day.
Earlier, Cheonil Express finished trading at the upper limit for 5 consecutive trading days from the 19th to the 25th of last month. As the stock price soared in a short period of time, it was designated as an investment warning item, and trading was suspended the day before, on the 26th. After the suspension of trading, the upper limit was set again on both the 27th and 28th, and the day before, when it was designated as an investment risk item again, the trading stopped.
The reason why Seoul City is promoting the redevelopment of the Seoul Express Bus Terminal is likely to continue to push up stock prices. Seoul announced on the 26th of last month that it will begin full-scale pre-negotiations with Shinsegae Central and Seoul Express Bus Terminal regarding the complex development of the Seoul Express Bus Terminal site in Seocho-gu.
Cheonil Express holds a 16.67% stake in Seoul Express Bus Terminal. The largest shareholder is Shinsegae Central City (70.49%), and Dongyang Express holds 0.17%. As a project to develop a site with an area of 140,6260.4 square meters, Seoul selected the two operators as pre-negotiators in September of this year.
