Singer Park Jin-young and the groups Twice and Stray Kids have obtained voting rights to participate in selecting the winners of the U.S. Grammy Awards.
JYP Entertainment said on the 14th that 18 artists, including Park Jin-young, have been selected as voting members of the Recording Academy, which hosts the Grammy Awards. Voting membership is a qualification for music creators such as artists, producers, and engineers, granting the right to participate in voting for Grammy Awards nominees and winners.
Jung Wook, CEO of JYP, and Shin Hyun-kook, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and CEO of JYP America, were selected as professional members of the Recording Academy. Professional members do not have Grammy Awards voting rights but can participate in the submission process.
The Grammy Awards will be held on February 7 next year in Los Angeles, United States.
