The Shilla Seoul has been named to the list of the world's top 1,000 hotels selected by global hotel rating agency La Liste, ranking highest among domestic hotels for the second consecutive year.
The Shilla Seoul said on the 9th that it was selected for the "World's Best 1,000 Hotels" in the "La Liste Hotel Awards 2026," announced on the 8th in France. Following last year, the hotel again ranked first among domestic hotels this year.
France-based La Liste is an organization that evaluates hotels and restaurants around the world. It ranks establishments by analyzing more than 1,100 evaluation sources and millions of online reviews using its own algorithm.
The Shilla Seoul has also earned recognition in other global hotel and dining evaluations this year. In February, it became the first domestic hotel to be named a five-star hotel for eight consecutive years by the "Forbes Travel Guide."
The hotel's food and beverage venues were also included in the award lists of overseas rating agencies. All four fine-dining restaurants were named to "La Liste 2025," and the lounge and bar "The Library" was selected for the Forbes Travel Guide's "Hotel Star Bar" last month. The Chinese restaurant "Palsun" was the only Korean Chinese restaurant to win the "2026 Trip Gourmet Awards."
"We will continue our efforts to improve service and quality tailored to each customer's purpose of stay and requests," a Shilla Seoul official said.
