"2026 K-Expo France," organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Choi Hwi-young) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (President Kim Yoon-ji, hereinafter KOCCA), was held from June 16 to 19 at the Palais des Congrès and Le Méridien Étoile Hotel in Paris, France.
The four-day event drew 36,000 visitors and produced 575 export consultations, 26 business agreements, and consultation deals worth $52,108,428 (approximately 79.3 billion won), expanding the foundation for Korean content companies to enter the European market.
Held to mark the 140th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and France, the event went beyond an industry-focused business gathering to operate as a participatory festival where local consumers could see, experience, and enjoy K-content firsthand. Through K-pop performances, beauty experiences, food tastings, and AI and advanced technology content programs, the event broadened the points of contact between European consumers and Korean content companies, establishing itself as a comprehensive K-content event encompassing both cultural enjoyment and industrial cooperation.

"This K-Expo France was an occasion that simultaneously confirmed European consumers' strong interest in K-content and the industry's demand for cooperation," KOCCA President Kim Yoon-ji said. "KOCCA will continue to expand overseas opportunities for Korean content companies through locally tailored support."
Meanwhile, K-Expo is also scheduled to be held in Mexico City this September. KOCCA plans to continue supporting Korean content companies' overseas expansion through support tailored to the market characteristics and industrial environment of each region.
