aespa, a leading K-pop girl group, has added another million-seller record with its second full-length album "LEMONADE." About two weeks after release, the album surpassed cumulative sales of 1.03 million copies, marking the group's eighth million-seller and demonstrating the strength befitting a leading K-pop girl group.
According to Circle Chart on Wednesday, aespa's second full-length album "LEMONADE," released on May 29, recorded cumulative sales of 1,037,190 copies to become a million-seller.
With this achievement, aespa now holds eight million-seller works in total, following "Girls," "MY WORLD," "Drama," "Armageddon" and "Whiplash." The group once again proved its powerful fandom influence by continuing its steady album sales performance.
Global achievements are also continuing. "LEMONADE" recently topped the album category of the United World Chart published by Media Traffic.
The album also ranked No. 9 on the Billboard 200, Billboard's main album chart, achieving its third top-10 entry, and appeared on numerous charts including the Artist 100. It entered the U.K. Official Charts and France's SNEP Top Albums chart, showcasing its presence in the global market.
Meanwhile, aespa will hold a new world tour, "SYNK : COMPLaeXITY," starting with a performance at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul in August, touring North and South America and Europe.
