A KBS Symphony Orchestra subscription concert featuring guest pianist Bruce Liu, winner of the Chopin International Piano Competition, will be held at Lotte Concert Hall on the 17th with the sponsorship of Seoul Economic Daily. Arranged to mark the 66th anniversary of this newspaper's founding, the performance will be led by world-renowned conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada.
The program features signature works by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. Beginning with Beethoven's "Egmont Overture," the concert continues with Tchaikovsky's "Piano Concerto No. 1," performed with Bruce Liu, and Tchaikovsky's "Symphony No. 5." These masterpieces depict life's journey from despair and anguish to triumph and joy, offering majestic emotion and profound resonance.
