Buyers in their 40s accounted for 77 percent, suggesting that demand for gifts for children drove sales.
Ranking second was "My First Real Estate Textbook" by author Song Hee-gu. Following his previous work, "The Story of Manager Kim Who Owns a Home in Seoul and Works at a Large Corporation," this new release also explains the principles of real estate investment in a novel format tailored to beginners.
"Park Gom-hee's Pension Wealth Class" by author Park Gom-hee rose to seventh place, boosted by the publication of a limited edition commemorating sales of 250,000 copies. Interest in philosophy books also continued. The Nietzsche philosophy book "Nietzsche's Transcendent" recorded eighth place, while "Sophie's World," considered a classic introductory philosophy book, climbed back up to 19th place.
