Group Hearts2Hearts is returning with their second mini-album "Lemon Tang." After making their mark with the first-half hit "RUDE!", the group is targeting the summer music market with upgraded refreshing energy.
According to their agency SM Entertainment on Wednesday, Hearts2Hearts' second mini-album "Lemon Tang" will be released at 6 p.m. on June 22 through various music streaming sites. The album contains a total of six tracks, including the title track of the same name and the hit song "RUDE!" released this past February.
As suggested by the title combining "Lemon," meaning a refreshing fruit, and "Tang," referring to a sharp taste and aroma, the new album captures Hearts2Hearts' signature bright and refreshing charm. The group plans to deliver summer vibes based on free-spirited and lively energy.
Hearts2Hearts achieved remarkable success with their previous release "RUDE!". The song topped major global music charts and earned five wins on music broadcast programs, while the music video became the team's first to surpass 100 million views. The track also became the first K-pop girl group song released this year to exceed 100 million cumulative streams on Spotify, demonstrating the group's steep growth trajectory.
Challenge content utilizing the song's signature choreography and member Stella's English narration section also generated significant buzz both domestically and internationally. The so-called "Ha2Ha boom" expanded the group's mainstream recognition, and the song has maintained top positions on major music charts even three months after its release.
Following this momentum, the second mini-album is expected to showcase the team's increasingly distinct musical color and appeal.
Meanwhile, Hearts2Hearts' second mini-album "Lemon Tang" will also be released as a physical album on June 22, with pre-orders available through online and offline record stores starting Wednesday.
