
Rain will fall across Korea on Thursday, the 28th, before clearing from the afternoon.
Rain is forecast from dawn through midday in the Seoul metropolitan area, including Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi Province, as well as in the Jeolla region, inland areas of the Gyeongsang region, and Jeju Island.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, expected rainfall for the day is around 5 millimeters in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi; Gangwon Province; Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong and North Chungcheong; Gwangju, South Jeolla and North Jeolla; and inland areas of Daegu and North Gyeongsang. Inland South Gyeongsang and Jeju Island will see less than 5 millimeters of rain.
From Thursday afternoon through early Friday morning, strong winds may blow mainly along the West Coast, South Coast, the East Coast of the Gyeongsang region, and Jeju Island, requiring caution regarding facility inspections and safety accidents.
Wave heights in coastal waters will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East and South seas and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea. In offshore waters within about 200 kilometers of the coast, waves will rise as high as 1.5 meters in the East and West seas and up to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
Temperatures will be similar to or slightly above seasonal averages. Morning lows are expected to range from 16 to 20 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 22 and 30 degrees.
