Lotte World has donated theme park tickets to a community child center in Songpa-gu, Seoul, to mark Family Month.
Lotte World said Sunday it delivered Lotte World Adventure tickets worth 4 million won to the Samjeon Community Child Center in Songpa-gu. The donation was made as part of "Dream Ticket," Lotte World's social contribution campaign.
Dream Ticket is a campaign that invites culturally underserved groups, who have limited access to theme parks, to Lotte World's facilities. The participating venues include Lotte World Adventure, Lotte World Aquarium, Seoul Sky, Lotte World Adventure Busan and Lotte Water Park.
According to Lotte World, about 10,000 people visited its facilities through the Dream Ticket campaign last year. Since the campaign launched in 2015, the cumulative number of invitees has reached approximately 120,000.
"Lotte World Adventure has always been the children's most preferred outing destination," said Park Dal-jun, head of the Samjeon Community Child Center. "Since the children have been given such a great opportunity for Family Month, we will go to Lotte World Adventure and come back with wonderful memories."
