Cultural content platform Yes24 said Monday it has joined the "2026 Performance Ticket Subsidy Program" to boost attendance at performing arts events.
The program, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts Management Service, was established to expand public access to culture and the arts and to inject vitality into the performing arts market. Through its participation, Yes24 plans to help more audiences enjoy a wide range of performing arts works at reasonable prices.
Starting from the 22nd, Yes24 will distribute performance booking discount coupons on a first-come, first-served basis every Friday at 10 a.m. The coupons are worth 10,000 won each, and customers can receive up to two per person through the Yes24 Ticket website. The coupons are valid only during the week of issuance and expire automatically if not used within that period.
The discount coupons can be used for various performances, including theater, musicals, Western classical music, Korean traditional music (gugak), dance, and magic and circus shows. One coupon can be applied per booking for performances priced at 15,000 won or higher.
"We hope the Performance Ticket Subsidy Program will give audiences an opportunity to experience new performances and diverse genres up close," said Lee Hee-seung, executive director of Yes24's ENT business division.
