Visitors to Lotte World Aquarium can witness new life. Lotte World Aquarium has been showing visitors a baby penguin hatched between Humboldt penguins "Pengdol" (male, 14) and "Pengsoon" (female, 18) since the 22nd. The baby penguin, born this past February, has been cared for by aquarists and veterinarians since hatching. Lotte World introduced the baby penguin to visitors for the first time after it entered a stable growth phase and completed swimming adaptation and socialization training.
The Humboldt penguin, which inhabits the South American coast, is classified as an endangered species due to a combination of factors including climate change, changes in the marine environment, and habitat destruction. Lotte World Aquarium analyzes the seasonal environment of Peru, the species' native habitat, and adjusts conditions such as habitat temperature, water temperature, and light exposure. As a result of efforts to build a habitat where penguins can express their innate ecological habits, new births have continued steadily since 2018.
Lotte World Aquarium holds ecological briefings twice daily at noon and 4 p.m. in the "Polar Zone" on the first basement level, where the penguin tank is located. At these sessions, aquarists personally share lesser-known stories about penguins.

In addition, Lotte World Aquarium is running a collaboration with Devsisters' popular intellectual property (IP) "Cookie Run." Visitors can encounter various Cookie Run characters at Lotte World Aquarium, transformed into an underwater palace in the heart of the city.
Everland kicked off its signature May-June event, the Rose Festival, on the 22nd. For one month through June 21, visitors can enjoy a spectacle of 3 million roses across 720 varieties in full bloom. This year's Rose Festival upgrades the "Rose Garden Royal High Tea" theme, which debuted last year, with a "Hotel Roroti" concept that evokes a leisurely vacation at a classic European hotel garden.
During the festival, visitors can enjoy a romantic space combining roses with elegant lighting, sentimental music, and artwork. The Rose Garden area will be brightly colored throughout the festival with 3 million roses across 720 varieties from around the world, including Everrose, an in-house developed rose variety. At the center of the Rose Garden, a new Purple Rose Zone filled with purple roses has been created, along with a photo zone reminiscent of a romantic garden party.
Diverse content is also available, including photo zones featuring the sensibility of famous artists, rose-themed food, merchandise, and performances. During the festival, a four-piece jazz band performs romantic shows daily at the outdoor garden in front of Rose Castle. Everland has also released about 20 new merchandise items embodying rest and healing concepts to mark the festival, including desert fox pajama dolls, Louis Hui cushions, Roroti parasols, and homewear.

Legoland is also extending its "Go Full Ninja" season, originally scheduled to end this month, through June 7. During this extended period, visitors can collect stamps by riding popular attractions through the "Ninjago Stamp Rally" or find Ninjago characters hidden throughout Miniland and post them on social media for a chance to win special prizes such as hotel accommodation vouchers, as the diverse seasonal events are also extended.
