Kang Sung-jae, a young man who served as the breadwinner in a troubled household, begins a precarious military life after enlisting and being labeled a soldier of concern. His life takes a dramatic turn when a mysterious "status window" appears before him, helping him grow into a chef. Through the "chef's eye" and "hologram simulation" abilities granted by the status window, Kang Sung-jae develops into a legendary chef.
The work skillfully blends military and fantasy genres, based on the Naver Series web novel of the same name. The webtoon began its serialization in 2019 and concluded in 2023 with 230 main episodes. It realistically portrays the military environment, including the treatment of soldiers of concern, the conduct of officers, and the working conditions in the mess hall. The work has been adapted into a TIVING original drama and was recently released. Actor Park Ji-hoon plays the lead role of Kang Sung-jae.
