Yellow Balloon is rolling out Eastern Europe package tours featuring bundled perks as long-haul travel demand weakens amid high oil prices and a rising exchange rate. The strategy focuses on enhancing included benefits and travel convenience rather than competing on lowest prices alone to capture long-haul travel demand.
Yellow Balloon said it will unveil a 7-night, 9-day Eastern Europe package tour covering the Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary through its live commerce channel "Yellow LIVE" at 2 p.m. on the 6th.
The product is built around Asiana Airlines direct flights to Prague or Budapest. Departure dates run from May through October, targeting demand during the summer peak season and the Chuseok holiday.
The itinerary covers visits to 11 major Eastern European cities, including Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Vienna, Hallstatt, and Budapest. Key activities include interior tours of Prague Castle and Schönbrunn Palace, as well as night tours in Prague and Budapest.
Yellow Balloon focused on reducing the additional costs that burden travelers on long-haul trips. The package provides accommodations and meals throughout the itinerary, including one night at a five-star hotel in Prague, and waives the 90-euro driver and guide fee for customers who book through the live broadcast.
