Hana Tour has launched a direct charter flight package from Cheongju International Airport to Matsuyama, Japan, targeting early June holiday demand.
Hana Tour said Tuesday that it will operate Cheongju-Matsuyama charter flights using Aero K on June 2, 4, and 6, for a total of three round trips. The schedule features morning departures and afternoon returns, extending on-site stay time.
The flagship product is the "Matsuyama, Imabari and Ozu 4-Day" package. The itinerary covers central Matsuyama and nearby smaller cities. Reflecting the burden of rising fuel surcharges, the package is structured at a fixed price with no additional fees.
An air-tel product targeting independent travelers has also been released. The "Matsuyama Free Travel 3-Day" package includes downtown hotel accommodations and breakfast, while allowing travelers to arrange the rest of the itinerary on their own.
The company is also expanding products departing from regional airports. Hana Tour is operating the Cheongju-Kitakyushu route four times a week from May 2 to 27, selling packages that include Yamaguchi-area sightseeing and cruise itineraries.
Routes departing from Gimhae International Airport will also be maintained. The Gimhae-Takamatsu route using Air Busan will operate three times a week through October 24, with itineraries featuring visits to the Naoshima art island and Sanuki udon experiences.
"We are continuing to expand not only charter flights but also routes to Japan's smaller cities departing from regional airports," a Hana Tour official said. "We will strengthen our product lineup so that travelers from outside the Seoul metropolitan area can also travel using nearby airports."
