
BTS has topped Billboard's "Global" chart for four consecutive weeks with its latest album, demonstrating that the group's appeal extends beyond its fandom to mainstream global popularity.
According to Billboard's latest charts dated April 25 and released on the 21st, "SWIM," the title track of BTS's fifth full-length album "ARIRANG," ranked No. 1 for four consecutive weeks on both the "Global 200" and "Global Excl. U.S." charts, proving the group's worldwide popularity. Excluding the bell sound of the Divine Bell of King Seongdeok, all 13 vocal tracks held firm positions on the "Global 200," while all placed within the top 50 on "Global Excl. U.S.," signaling sustained commercial success.
The group's performance on the main charts has also drawn attention. "ARIRANG" ranked No. 3 on the "Billboard 200," while "SWIM" reached No. 10 on the "Hot 100." Other tracks from the album, including "Body to Body" (No. 69), "2.0" (No. 88) and "Hooligan" (No. 90), have remained on the "Hot 100" for a month. The group also demonstrated its presence across major charts, topping "Digital Song Sales" for four consecutive weeks, while ranking No. 2 on "Top Album Sales," No. 3 on "Vinyl Albums," No. 4 on "Top Streaming Albums" and No. 5 on "Artist 100."
Meanwhile, BTS kicked off its "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'" at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on the 9th. The tour, spanning 85 shows across 34 cities, marks the largest single tour ever undertaken by a Korean artist. After drawing more than 240,000 fans combined in Goyang and Tokyo, the group will continue its North American leg at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, U.S., on the 25th, 26th and 28th.
