Hugel, a South Korean biopharmaceutical company, is embarking on a symposium tour across major medical aesthetics cities in China to strengthen academic exchange with local medical professionals.
The company announced on January 16 that it had successfully concluded the "Letybo Regional Symposium and Hands-on Training" in Beijing on January 15. Kim Jung-hwan, head of Korea Dr. Evereth's Myeongdong clinic, was invited as the keynote speaker, and approximately 30 local Chinese medical professionals attended the event.
The symposium was held to raise awareness and build trust in Hugel's botulinum toxin product Letybo. Discussions focused on combination treatment cases using Letybo, their effects, and future development directions. Wang Keming, chief physician at the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Qi Min, chief technical director of Huihe Group, shared their insights on facial harmony-focused treatment methods and combination treatment cases, followed by discussions on clinical applications.
Hugel plans to hold a total of six regional symposiums in cities including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Wuhan.
"We will build a network spanning all of China based on academic events connecting major medical aesthetics hub cities," said Ji Seung-wook, executive vice president of Hugel. "By expanding exchange with local medical professionals, we will solidify Hugel's brand position and credibility."
