Photographer Yang Jong-hun has opened a tribute exhibition at Tulip Art Gallery in Vienna, Austria, commemorating the first anniversary of the passing of Pope Francis.
Yang first captured the Pope during a papal blessing at his 2014 visit to South Korea. That connection led Yang to accompany the Pope on his 2023 pastoral visit to Mongolia, where he documented the pontiff's compassionate smile. The exhibition features 44 photographs from those encounters.
