Photographer Yang Jong-hun has opened a tribute exhibition at the Tulip Art Gallery in Vienna, Austria, commemorating the first anniversary of Pope Francis's passing.
Yang first photographed the Pope during his 2014 visit to South Korea, capturing a scene of the papal blessing. That connection led him to accompany the Pope on his 2023 pastoral visit to Mongolia. The exhibition features 44 photographs showcasing the Pope's compassionate smile as seen through Yang's lens.
