Osstem Implant said Monday that it successfully concluded its global academic event, "Osstem World Meeting 2026 Bangkok." Launched in 2008, the Osstem World Meeting is a global academic symposium where dental clinicians from around the world gather to share the latest treatment methods, including implant procedures. This year's event drew attention as an opportunity to explore the latest trends in digital dentistry, referring to the digital transformation of dental care.
According to Osstem Implant, this year's World Meeting was held in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 27-28, drawing approximately 1,200 dentists and industry professionals from around the world. Although many flights were canceled due to the fallout from the Iran conflict, making it difficult for European dentists to attend, a total of 40 countries participated, including Thailand, Russia, Türkiye, the United States and the United Kingdom.
The event was held to mark the 10th anniversary of "OneGuide," a digital implant system developed by Osstem Implant. OneGuide is a digital technology-based solution that precisely guides drill angle and depth to enable accurate and safe surgery during implant placement.
The academic program consisted of four sessions, featuring six global clinical authorities from Korea, Germany, Japan, the United States, India and Thailand, who took the stage to share digital-based implant treatment methods and the latest clinical trends and expertise. A company official explained that the hands-on program, designed to allow participants to experience Osstem Implant's digital solutions including OneGuide, also received highly favorable reviews.
The entire event was conducted in English, with simultaneous interpretation provided in five languages — Chinese, Russian, Turkish, Japanese and Thai — to enhance participants' understanding. The event also recorded approximately 10,000 online global views.
"The Bangkok World Meeting was highly meaningful as global leaders in dentistry came together to share the latest trends in digital dentistry and clinical application expertise," an Osstem Implant official said. "We will continue to expand academic exchanges that enable dental professionals worldwide to grow together, and we will keep contributing to the global dental community through ongoing clinical research activities."
