Signiel Busan is strengthening its wellness-focused extended-stay offerings ahead of the cherry blossom season, the peak spring travel period. The strategy aims to attract relaxation-seeking travelers by revamping packages that combine accommodation with spa services.
Signiel Busan said on the 26th that it is launching an upgraded spa package called "Wave of Retreat Signiel." The package features a one-night stay with a choice of spa programs. Guests can select either a 70-minute aroma body program or a 120-minute full-body treatment course based on their preferences.
The key change is an enhanced focus on aromatherapy. Expanding beyond the previous moisture-focused treatments, the hotel has put relaxation programs using natural aromas at the forefront. It has adopted premium aroma brand "Le Novel" and combined personalized oils tailored to individual conditions with care from professional therapists to elevate the overall experience.
A full-body treatment program targeting long-stay guests has also been maintained. The 120-minute course includes a honey-based scrub, body massage and scalp care, offering a "full-package relaxation" experience.
Across the hotel industry, wellness products combining spa, yoga and meditation with accommodation have been rapidly gaining traction. The strategy moves beyond simple room sales to extend guest stays and boost ancillary revenue. Signiel Busan is similarly targeting "purpose-driven travel demand" by combining seasonality with the region's cherry blossom scenery.
"We restructured the package as a signature program that helps restore balance of body and mind, timed with the cherry blossom season," a Signiel Busan official said.
